Woodlands RV Park & River Marina

The Woodlands RV Park Community

More Than a Campground

Why I Started Woodlands RV Park

I spent years out on the Peace River, where people look out for each other without saying much—just a quiet kind of camaraderie. That stuck with me. When I started Woodlands RV Park, I wanted to build a place with that same spirit. Somewhere you could settle in, enjoy the outdoors, and maybe get to know the folks a few sites over—if it feels right.

Over the 20 years that Woodlands has been in operation, that vision has come to life. People have returned season after season, and over time, something lasting has grown. Neighbours have become friends. Kids have grown up together, bikes and bonfires marking their summers. There’ve shared meals, music, help when it’s needed, and plenty of quiet moments, too.

Woodlands has become a true community—something we’re proud of and grateful for. It was always the hope. And it’s what continues to shape this place, year after year.

Who This Place Is For

Woodlands RV Park tends to draw people who appreciate the simple things—space, quiet, good neighbours, and a strong sense of place. Folks who like waking up to birdsong, who don’t mind gravel roads, who know the value of a shared meal or a helping hand.

Some come here to unplug. Others come to fish, paddle, work remotely, or spend the summer near family. What they have in common is a respect for the land, the river, and the people around them.

This isn’t a resort. It’s not a party spot. It’s a steady, grounded kind of place—meant for people who feel at home in nature and around others who feel the same.

A Destination Worth the Drive
