Woodlands RV Park & River Marina

The Woodlands RV Park Way

We believe great camping starts with shared values, not strict rules. Here’s what shapes your experience—and why you’ll want to return.

Safety First, No Exceptions

Your well-being is our top priority. Here’s how we keep Woodlands RV Park safe—and what you can do to help:

24/7 Staff & Emergency Response: Need help? Our on-call team is always available. For urgent issues (fires, medical emergencies, etc.), notify us or 911 for emergencies.

Fire Safety: Fire pits must be attended at all times and fully extinguished before leaving. No open flames during county-wide burn bans (we’ll post alerts).

Electrical & Hookups: Don’t overload outlets. If you spot frayed cords or malfunctioning pedestals, report them immediately—no DIY fixes.

Waterfront Rules: Kids under 12 must wear life jackets near the marina docks. No swimming after dark or in designated boat lanes.

Wildlife Smarts: Store food in sealed containers (bears and skunks are geniuses). No feeding animals—it’s dangerous for them and you.

Vehicle Safety: Speed limit is 5 mph (yes, even if you’re late for sunset). Park only in your assigned spot—no blocking roads or empty sites.

In Case of Emergency: Know your site number, and call 911 first if it’s life-threatening. Then alert our staff.

Respect the Peace

When you choose to camp at Woodlands RV Park, you’re joining a community that treasures tranquility. This isn’t just a rule—it’s our most important agreement with each other. By honoring quiet hours and keeping noise modest day-round, you protect the restorative peace that makes our campground special. We’re not here to kill the fun (marshmallows and laughter are encouraged!), but if your good time disrupts someone else’s recharge, we’ll need to chat.

Quiet Hours: 10 PM–7 AM = no generators, loud music, or rowdy gatherings.

Visitors: Check in at office first. Overnight guests pay fees.

Stewardship of the River

We take pride in caring for our stretch of the Athabasca River. Our team regularly maintains the shoreline and ensures clean, safe access to the water. We encourage guests to pack out what they pack in. It’s not complicated – just good old-fashioned respect for the river that gives us all so much.

Keep It Clean

We keep our grounds well-maintained, and we ask guests to do their part. A simple daily tidy-up of your site makes everyone’s stay better.

Trash: Bag it, tie it, use dumpsters—never leave outside overnight (bears love snacks).

Sites: Leave yours tidier than you found it.

Shared Spaces

Our bathrooms, laundry room, and common areas exist to make your stay comfortable—if we all use them thoughtfully.

Bathrooms/Laundry: Clean up after yourself. Report issues immediately.

Laundry Courtesy: Please limit use to once per day per site during open hours (7 AM–9 PM). Abandoned loads? We’ll move them—politely, but promptly.

Parking: 1 vehicle per site unless approved. No blocking roads.

Pets Welcome

We love furry guests! To keep everyone safe and happy:

One pet per campsite (no exceptions)

Leashed at all times  – no “just this once” off-leash roaming

Clean up promptly – pretend your mom’s watching

Excessive barking? Be neighborly and soothe your pup

Aggressive behavior may require re-evaluating your stay

Camp Mascot Our dog Rubble is a friendly dog that visits everyone
